Sign-ups begin now and close on February 24th, 2012. All battles will be tournament style. Competitors will be chosen at random to compete head-to-head until there is only one man standing (**complete description of rules at the bottom**). Winner of the producer will receive $250 cash and winner of the emcee battle will receive $150 cash.

RULES

All competitors must arrive at Sonar no later than 8pm!!!!!!!!!!

Names will be drawn out of a hat before each battle. Whoever's name is drawn second will spit or play a beat first.

EMCEES (FREESTYLE BATTLE)
Competitors will face-off in two 45 second rounds (45 seconds being roughly a 16). Two 45 second rounds mean that each emcee gets two opportunities to spit. Two 16s back and forth.

PRODUCERS
BRING YOUR BEATS ON A CD!! NO IPODS OR ELECTRONIC DEVICES!!
1st round - producers will play one 45 second beat each! (bring your heat in the first round)
2nd, 3rd and Finals - Producers will play two 45 second beats each.
Producers should bring between 12 and 15 beats.
