 Rules and Information Aug 23rd, 2008 Sonar The freesyle and producer battles will be judged by the same three judges - Sonny Brown, Krazy Horse of Radio4real.com and Nick Tha 1da. The b-boy will be judged by Rapid of the Labratz crew and Loko from the DVC. All battles will be tournament style. Competitors will be chosen at random to compete head-to-head until there is only one man (or woman) standing. All three first place winners will take home a cash prize of $200. Sign-ups begin now and close at 9pm on the night of the event. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. You can sign up by sending an email to brakefastrecords@gmail.com or by calling 301-325-0215. Entry fee for the battle is $15.00, general admission is $10.00 (entering the battle also counts as your admission fee). The first 16 producers and emcees, and the first 8 BBoys to pay for their ticket will be competing. Tickets available by contacting us through the information above. ***Freestyle Battle - 16 contestants*** Competitors will face-off in two 45-second rounds, with a coin flip deciding who spits first. Two 45-second rounds mean that each emcee gets two opportunities to spit. ***B-boy Battle (1 on 1s) - 8 contestants*** Each b-boy will have 60 seconds to complete two sets. ***Producer Battle - 16 contestants*** 1st Round Producers will take turns playing 1 60-second beat. Remaing Rounds Producers will take turns playing two 60-second beats.
